49 Days

22 May

Yes, I finally am done watching this new Korean melodrama 49 Days. What I like from this drama is about they can serve us the story that is very uncommon and we can not even predict the ending. That is what I love about K drama. We also get many things to learn.

The story is about a Woman named Shin Ji Hyun who gets the second chance to live again in her coma after a big accident. She meets the ‘scheduler’ who helps her during his second life. The scheduler, Song Yi Soo, is very very cute :D

Ji Hyun gets 49 days chance to live again and finds out what really happens in her life and solve the problem. Then Yi Soo as the scheduler gives Ji Hyun permission to take over Song Yi Kyung’s body. Song Yi Kyung is a woman who works at the convenient store, has no passion anymore to live.

Ji Hyun has 49 days to find three people (unrelated by blood) who will cry sincere tears of grief for her. As Ji Hyun sets out to find these people, she discovers that her perfect life may not have been so perfect after all.

Many problems come and the truth appears. I cried a lot. This is not only about love relationship but also about friendship and family matters. Really cried a lot. But… cheer up! Next week will be the first episode of Lee Min Ho’s new drama, city Hunter. Can’t wait :)

Here’s the trailer:

Hello Weekend #5, another experience in Padang

22 May

I really had a great time last week since I went home to Padang. Hm. It’s a really really long weekend. My mom also cooked me my fave foods. Really love it. Awalnya ga menyadari makan terus, karena enak-enak berkuliner ria, then when got back to Jakarta, I realized I was getting bigger :D

Let me share you what I got in Padang last week.

This is Mie Goreng Amor. My Fave in Padang. Lupa nama daerah tempat jualannya.

But this is where you can find the original, di Padang Panjang. :D

Nah ini namanya Tahu Kecap. I wonder why this is called Tahu Kecap.

This is the best in town. Es Duren with Float. Tapi menurutku, di Ganti Nan Lamo lah the best nya. Harga IDR 18k. Cukup mahal tapi worth it.

:D . My mom’s made with love. Enak.

Ini adalah eskrim kacang merah. Aku beli di Metro, salah satu toko buah dan pengimpor makanan asing, termasuk Korea. Merk-nya aja ini aku ga tau cara bacanya :) . But anyways, ini enak.

Last but  not least. Ini adalah masakan mama yang paling favorit. Dendeng Lambok. Hehehe.

Choco Corner: a corner to hang out.

9 May

On the last weekend, Me and my cousin Kak Ria spent our times window shopping at Mall Artha Gading. Ok. Let me introduce. My Cousin, Korean Fever, Unfortunately hates Sushi, and Tax Consultant soon-to-be.

Anyway, we stopped at a cafe named Choco Corner. The place looks cool, not to big and I think they ‘sell’ chocolate menus. Actually we don’t have any recommendation about this place before. But, why don’t we try.

I ordered fettuccine and something choco shake since I hope the choco ones are they popular menus. Kak ria ordered Chicken Spring Roll and and Choco cinnamon creme. Hey, I also wanted to try the Royale Cake. Look yummy (as always…) ;)

The Chicken Spring Rolls (IDR 23,700) –> A bit expensive I think. But looks nice with the peanut sauce. Nice anyway.

This is it. The Dory Fish & Fettuccine (IDR 36,000) –> Hm. It’s recommended I think. The fish cooked well. And the creme also nice.

Choco cinnamon creme (IDR 27,400) –> Hm Looks same with the shake. Nothing special I think. Can be alternative way to mix the cinnamon with chocolate.

Royale Cake (IDR 21,300) --> Hm.. good. Good looking and the sweetness is tolerable.

Me and the Chocolate Peanut Bunny Shake (IDR 32,600) –> From the name, you know what it is right? So fatty and not good for you who is having a diet program. Hehehe. But I think I didn’t chose the wrong menu :)

Overall it’s good place just to hang out. Not for a meeting since the place is not to big. The decoration is quite simple. Also there’s a book shelf but I don’t know if the books there only for property. But I think you can read that. I like the place but I don’t like the back sound, the music they play :p Hahaha.

Gamaliel & Audrey Tapiheru

7 May

Finally, after a long time, I write about this. Gamaliel and Audrey Tapiheru. The talanted siblings popular from their Youtube videos. No. They do not just do lip-sync or dancing in the videos but singing and playing guitar. I am a huge fan. They cover Jason Mraz and even Lady Gaga songs. And you can see the results are very outstanding. They surely are talented. Perfect pitch, perfect collaboration.

In most of their videos, Gamaliel and Audrey talk in English, so many of the viewers think the they are from the Philippines. So they just put Indonesian Flag in the Videos.

Why I like them is just because they are phenomenal not because of their amazing voices but also because of their good performance and consistency. They’re still young but surely gonna be stars. Yeah. good packaging.

I don’t know, but I think this is their first performance on TV as guest star. Take a look. Gives me goosebumps.

But now, they already had their first Single. Collaborating with Cantika, they created a trio and hit the crowd with a single Ingin Putus Saja. This is a very cool song. :D

I am not Alone

1 May

One of the most best moments in life is when you wake up in the morning; you realize that you’re not alone. So I am really grateful having so many amazing people in my life. I really love them; need them when I feel bad and happy. I need them when I cry and laugh. I need them when I feel like I am standing at the crossroad the need their precious advice. I need them when I feel like no body in my work listens to me. I need them when I am feeling down. They’re here to cheer me up.

Love you my family, my friends, and you, who always be here with me. Hugs and Kisses.
